Bill's Blood Angels

I take absolutely no credit for painting this army. I bought the army used from Steve Groom. Steve had spent a lot of time painting this army and it looked great. Then he went to seal it; long story short the sealer was bad. His loss, my gain.

I cut my 40k eye teeth with this army. The organization (Steve gets most the credit) fits my sense of play that I developed from playing Disk Wars: lots of small units.

In my opinion, it is very important to have more units than the other guy. Lots of small units makes for lots of options when mission time comes.

2005-10-19 Update: Having been playing for some time and going through the transition from the 3rd edition rules to 4th plus the latest Space Marine codex, I find my army layout has changed. Going with larger core squads may limit flexibility, but they tend to handle small tactical mistakes better (read: I Put Those Guys in Harms Way-Oops). And seeing a sea of Red Marines really puts the spike in the opponents heart!
